Today, Consul General Anne-Laure Desjonquères bestowed the French Legion of Honor upon Mr. Reitmeier in recognition of his role in the liberation of France during WWII.
Our colleague, Pierre Frechette, had the privilege of connecting with Mr. Reitmeier a few months ago during their return to Normandy for the 79th D-Day anniversary with the Best Defense Foundation, Delta Air Lines, and Michelin. It was truly special to see Mr. Reitmeier again and extend our heartfelt congratulations for this well-deserved award.
